Golden State Dermatology is a physician-owned network of comprehensive dermatology services throughout the Western United States. It partners with leading dermatology clinics and dermatologists offering services such as cosmetics, Mohs surgery, pathology and plastic surgery in state-of-the-art medical facilities.

The network has more than 100 providers at 35+ locations throughout California. In April 2023, Golden State Dermatology expanded its footprint from the Bay Area and Central Valley into Southern California through a partnership with Moy-Fincher-Chipps Facial Plastics & Dermatology.

Moy-Fincher-Chipps’ providers are renowned experts in dermatology, facial plastic surgery and custom laser treatments. They have remained at the forefront of the beauty industry for more than 30 years, helping clients correct the signs of aging, treat sun damage, and address general and cosmetic skin care concerns. The team is committed to advancing the field of dermatology by performing breakthrough research, having developed and tested new products and devices for treating multiple types of skin conditions and cancer.

South Bay native Ronald Moy, MD, founded the practice while working as co-chief of the dermatology department of UCLA, where he had the opportunity to train both Edgar Fincher, MD, and Lisa Chipps, MD. The practice then moved to Beverly Hills and expanded to locations in Torrance and Encino. Dr. Moy’s daughter, Lauren Moy, MD, later joined the team, along with physician assistant Jeffrey So and nurses Kaitie McKeever and Madison Talley.

In early 2024, Golden State Dermatology further expanded its network by adding two additional Torrance partnerships: Shirlene Jay, MD, with South Bay Dermatology and Amber Kyle, MD.

At South Bay Dermatology, Dr. Jay treats a variety of skin disorders and has a special interest in treating geriatric and pediatric patients, as well as medical dermatology and the diagnosis and removal of skin cancers. Dr. Jay and Tina Miley, RN, also enjoy cosmetic-enhancing procedures including fillers, toxins, lasers and microneedling.

Dr. Kyle has been a member of the South Bay community for over 30 years. She and Yen Vo, RN, and Esther Loop, LE, provide pediatric and adult patients with comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care. Peterson Pierre, MD, who also has a practice in Thousand Oaks, recently joined Dr. Kyle’s team.
