What is your definition of success?
Paying close attention to my customers’ needs and offering personalized service.
How does your unique experience enhance the services you provide clients?
I am well rounded with various tax and accounting experiences from working for many years with Big 4 accounting firm Deloitte and Universal Music Group. I have learned certain skills that make me a great benefit to my clients. I stay up to date with annual tax law changes, which is a big plus for my clients.
Tell us about your family.
I am the eldest of three siblings. My father passed away during my early teens back home in Egypt in 1990. My late mother was brave and decided to immigrate to the United States in 1991 with three young children, seeking a better life for us. Having been a pharmacist in Egypt, she had to start over and went to college to earn a new degree in the U.S. I completed my high school diploma here in California, then continued to California State University, Northridge for my bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. I will be forever grateful to my late mother for taking such a courageous step! I just got married in April and am enjoying married life.
What do you enjoy doing off the clock?
Volunteering for our local Manhattan Beach community and serving in underserved countries like Egypt, Kenya and India, to mention a few. I love traveling, and I take as many trips as possible each year. In fact, in 2023 I have visited Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Montenegro and Croatia. Looking forward to more in 2024.
