Tell us about Ocean Canyon.
We’ve been so excited by what guests are saying about Ocean Canyon. People really respond to how warm and inviting it feels and how many different ways you can use the space. You have the canyon, ocean and city lights as your backdrop, plus beautiful indoor and outdoor areas that let an event flow naturally and give you options when the weather changes. But what I love most is that we get to bring the whole experience together. Great food, beautiful presentation, thoughtful details and a team that genuinely takes care of people. Guests have called it romantic, breathtaking, seamless and even turnkey, and that’s exactly what we want it to feel like. You come here with an idea for your celebration, and we help you make it happen.
What distinguishes you in your field?
Clients really appreciate the team approach we bring to every event. We cater everything from intimate celebrations and weddings to large events like Sake in the Park with hundreds of guests. No matter the size, we stay focused on the details, the food and the people, and we send guests home smiling. We know how to anticipate our clients’ needs and ensure every event feels uniquely special.
Who inspired you to pursue this career?
My daughter, without question. She was born with a serious digestive condition, and that changed the way I understood food. Every bite needed to provide nourishment, comfort and joy. It taught me to really think about the person I’m cooking for, and I still carry that into every menu and every event today.
