About the Practice
I am excited to have patients receive personalized, proactive health care. You will always have a direct line to me, whether it is through a call, email or text. You will not feel rushed when you are in the office. You can expect support every step of the way. I want you to feel safe, respected and cared for like a friend or family member, not a number. I am here to help you along your health journey.
A Medical Career
Growing up, I knew I wanted a career in medicine. It was something I felt naturally drawn to, even without any direct exposure through family or close relatives. I’ve always had a deep desire to help people—not just physically but emotionally as well. What excites me most about medicine is the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with patients and support them throughout different stages of their lives.
Building Trust
I build trust and credibility with my patients by listening actively, showing genuine empathy and being transparent about their care. I make it a point to explain diagnoses and treatment options in clear terms, and I always welcome questions. I follow through with my patients to reinforce that I value their health. I want my patients to feel heard and aware we are working as a team toward their well-being.
Family Support
My family is incredibly supportive of my work as a physician. My husband is also a physician, and we have developed a partnership where we share responsibilities—particularly when it comes to taking care of our two kids. A balance between work, family and personal life is essential for long-term well-being. Having a solid support system at home makes it possible for me to give my best to both my patients and my loved ones.
Taking Time
One of the changes I hope to see—and I am excited to be a part of—is the time for providers to spend with their patients. The system often prioritizes volume over quality, which can lead to rushed visits and missed connections. When we are given the time to truly listen and engage, we can provide more personalized, effective care. This allows us to build trust, and this leads to better outcomes.
Wise Words
Medicine as a career path is worth it, but make sure it’s truly what you want. The path to becoming a doctor will involve real highs and lows. It is not just a title—it’s about building meaningful relationships with the people you care for. You’ll need to be useful in different ways, which requires learning to put parts of your personal life on hold, especially during training. It’s not always easy, but it’s deeply rewarding.
A Mission of Care
I believe it’s essential to enjoy the work you do and the people you do it with. I am excited to begin this next chapter of my life and career with Beach Cities Medicine, where our mission is clear: to provide the highest quality of care with compassion, connection and integrity.
