Tell us about your background.
Growing up in Tunisia, I was surrounded by a culture where food, family and hospitality were at the center of everyday life. One of my greatest influences was my mother, Zina, who was an amazing cook and host. Some of my earliest memories are of watching her prepare vibrant meals and welcome guests with warmth and generosity. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for authentic flavors, hard work and creating meaningful connections through food and wine.
How does your business contribute to the South Bay community?
We’re committed to creating welcoming spaces where friends, families and neighbors can connect while enjoying thoughtfully curated food and wine. Giving back to the South Bay community is an important part of our core. Throughout the years, we’ve partnered with local schools, nonprofit organizations and community groups to raise money for causes that make a difference. We also take pride in supporting small, family-owned wineries and artisan producers. Giving back to the community that has given so much to us is one of the most meaningful parts of our journey.
Tell us about your family.
We have two wonderful daughters, Pash (13) and Sura (10), who inspire us every day. They bring so much joy, energy and perspective to our lives, and watching them grow while building our business has been one of our greatest blessings. Barsha is truly an extension of our family. The warmth, hospitality and sense of community we strive to create are the same values we share at home. We’re grateful to be raising our family in the South Bay while serving the community we love.
