A contemporary-style home on a rare, 4,327-square-foot beachfront lot with 70-foot-wide frontage on The Strand. The tranquil reflecting pool and 60-foot-long infinity edge make the structure appear to float above the pool. At the main entrance is a three-story glass atrium segmented by a glass staircase, glass bridges and water wall. The atrium receives ample natural light from the 22-foot glass curtain walls and roof glass structure. The first floor is comprised of the great room with reading nook, kitchen and garage. The second floor has the master suite, three guest bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and laundry room. The basement is set up for entertaining with rec room, living room, bar, wine cellar, theater and guest suite. Lending itself to the California lifestyle, the main living space and master suite open almost completely on the west-facing facades with 10-foot sliding doors that disappear behind stone walls.

Established in 1991, Tomaro Design Group has always designed and built the highest quality structures. As a design/build firm, we offer our clients architectural, interior and landscape design, along with construction management services. We are 100% referral-based, and we commonly design second and third homes for our clients. We are at the forefront of design and computer graphics, allowing us to give our clients a vision of their new project at a very early stage.
How do you distinguish your firm from the competition?
With more than 100 projects built, we understand what works, what’s good and what lasts. Operating as a full-service firm, we are with our clients every step of the way. It is important to us to understand the way our clients live their day-to-day lives, as this drives the design. All our work is incorporated into a 3-D model that allows our clients to take a virtual tour of their project—a wonderful tool that has helped tremendously in eliminating revisions during construction. Our staff is also very knowledgeable in all the newest green building techniques, allowing us to be on the forefront of design, construction and building technologies.

Listening is the #1 tool we utilize to keep our clients happy. From our initial client meetings through construction and project completion it is important that all our clients’ needs and desires are met with the final product. Each project is unique, as are our clients, and it is our goal to create a distinctive and inspirational project for each and every client. With our experience and knowledge in all types of construction and architectural styles, we are able to bring a diverse perspective to every project.
